Hedgehog grazing around the hedgehog house. It kind of looks like we built a whole Hobbit village. pic.twitter.com/btguy4RGAw

Captured on a wildlife camera, this hedgehog is found grazing outside the door of the hedgehog house.
It looks like an ideal location to have sited the house:
- back garden
- against a fence
- surrounded by undergrowth and loose leaves
- a couple of tree stumps
- plus, plenty of bedding inside
The hedgehog census results also agree that the privacy factor is the MOST influential for getting hedgies to visit.
From the picture above, the house looks like a shop-bought one. Perhaps the Riverside Woodcraft Hedgehog House (Golden Brown).
But can’t say for sure.
Either way, the hedgehog clearly doesn’t seem to mind.
